Privacy & AML Principles

A clear explanation of how EXC24 approaches privacy, transaction monitoring, third-party liquidity and refunds.

EXC24 is designed to make cryptocurrency swaps simple and privacy-aware. Standard transactions do not require account registration or routine identity verification. At the same time, we apply proportionate risk controls where necessary to protect users, prevent abuse and meet legal or liquidity-provider requirements.

No mandatory account registration
No standard KYC for regular use
Risk-based AML checks
Monero (XMR) supported
Refunds where possible

Our Privacy Approach

EXC24 aims to collect and process only the information reasonably necessary to create and execute exchange orders, provide support, prevent abuse and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

Users do not need to create an account for standard cryptocurrency swaps. In most cases, only order-related data is processed, such as wallet addresses, transaction details and technical information required to complete the exchange.

  • No account is required for standard swaps.
  • Identity verification is not a routine requirement.
  • Only necessary order and technical data is processed by default.
  • EXC24 does not sell users' personal information.

No Standard KYC for Regular Use

EXC24 does not require mandatory identity verification as a standard condition for using the service.

Identity verification, Source of Funds information or other supporting details may be requested only in exceptional cases involving applicable legal obligations, sanctions screening, severe AML risk indicators, confirmed fraud indicators, security concerns or mandatory requirements of a third-party liquidity provider involved in processing the transaction.

KYC is not required by default. Additional information may be requested only when a specific transaction triggers exceptional risk, legal or provider-side compliance requirements.

Why AML Checks May Be Applied

EXC24 uses risk-based transaction monitoring to protect users, prevent fraud and misuse, comply with applicable obligations and meet the operational requirements of third-party liquidity providers.

A review may be triggered by indicators such as sanctions exposure, stolen or compromised funds, fraud patterns, high-risk blockchain history, technical anomalies or suspected misuse of the service.

  • Checks are risk-based rather than routine identity checks.
  • Most standard transactions are processed without additional information.
  • Some reviews may be initiated by a liquidity provider.
  • AML controls help protect legitimate users and service availability.

Third-Party Liquidity Providers

EXC24 uses third-party liquidity providers to access exchange rates, route transactions and execute swaps across supported assets and blockchain networks.

As a result, a transaction may be affected by provider-side limits, technical requirements, risk controls or compliance procedures. EXC24 works to minimize unnecessary friction and data sharing, but cannot fully control the independent policies of third-party providers.

A provider's review does not automatically mean that the user has violated any rule. It may simply require additional time or information to resolve the order.

If a Transaction Requires Review

If an order is flagged by AML, sanctions, fraud-prevention, security, technical or liquidity-provider controls, processing may be temporarily delayed while the issue is reviewed.

1

Review

The order is checked for risk indicators, technical issues or provider requirements.

2

Communication

Where legally permitted, support provides general information about the order status and next steps.

3

Resolution

The order may be completed, cancelled, refunded or otherwise resolved according to the circumstances.

4

Refund

Where technically and legally possible, funds are returned after applicable network, payment or provider fees.

Refund Principles

If an order cannot be completed, EXC24 will seek to return the received funds to the user where technically and legally possible.

The refund amount may be reduced by blockchain network fees, payment-system fees, liquidity-provider fees or other direct costs required to process the return. Incorrect networks, addresses, memos, tags or payment IDs may delay or prevent recovery.

  • Refund requests are reviewed individually.
  • Network and provider charges may apply.
  • Recovery depends on technical and blockchain limitations.
  • Support will explain the available resolution where possible.
EXC24 does not permanently seize user funds for its own benefit.

What Data May Be Processed

To process exchange orders, maintain security and provide support, EXC24 may process limited order-related and technical data.

  • Wallet and refund addresses
  • Transaction hashes and blockchain network
  • Selected currency pair and exchange amount
  • Order status and timestamps
  • Liquidity routing and provider-related order data
  • Support messages and contact details voluntarily provided by the user
  • Technical, diagnostic and security logs
  • Basic website usage data and cookies, where applicable
Additional personal or financial information may be requested only in exceptional compliance, fraud-prevention or transaction-resolution cases.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not require account registration for standard swaps.
  • We do not request KYC as a standard condition for regular use.
  • We do not sell users' personal information.
  • We do not permanently seize funds for our own benefit.
  • We do not disclose user data for unrelated commercial purposes.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for providing accurate transaction details and ensuring that their use of EXC24 complies with applicable laws and third-party restrictions.

  • Verify the receiving address before sending funds.
  • Select the correct blockchain network.
  • Provide a memo, tag or payment ID where required.
  • Do not send assets associated with sanctioned, stolen or unlawful sources.
  • Contact support promptly if an order appears incorrect or delayed.

Support & Transparency

If you have questions about an order, refund, delayed transaction or compliance review, contact EXC24 support. We aim to provide clear and timely communication wherever possible, while respecting security, legal and liquidity-provider limitations.
